From 15 to 17 April 2026, the Numantec Group will take part in the 9th World Congress on Vascular Access (WoCoVA), one of the leading international events dedicated to vascular access. This year’s edition will be held in Valencia, Spain, at the Valencia Congress Centre (VCC).
Organised by GloVANet/WoCoVA with the support of the Spanish National Vascular Access Association (SEINAV), the biennial congress is recognised as a global reference point for specialists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals involved in vascular access management.
A Scientific Event Focused on Innovation in Vascular Access
Over the three days of the congress, approximately 100 scientific presentations will cover the latest clinical evidence and technological innovations in the field of vascular access. Sessions will be delivered by international experts and will be complemented by hands-on workshops, short training courses, and parallel events.
The programme, available in its full version here, has been defined by the WoCoVA Scientific Committee and will provide a comprehensive overview of the topics most relevant to daily clinical practice, with the aim of sharing up-to-date knowledge and improving standards of care.
For the first time in the history of the congress, a digital simultaneous translation system will also be introduced, allowing participants to follow the presentations in multiple languages directly from their own devices.
Mini Midline ProV Midline ST and DualCap: Featured Solutions at the Numantec Booth
At WoCoVA 2026, Numantec will present two solutions that clearly represent its expertise in vascular access: the Mini Midline ProV Midline ST and the DualCap® system®.
The Mini Midline, recently CE certified and now available on the European market, represents an intermediate solution between short peripheral access and a traditional midline catheter. Thanks to its long cannula design, it can remain in situ for up to 29 days, providing greater stability than standard peripheral catheters.
The device allows high-pressure infusions and is designed to be less invasive than a conventional midline, while maintaining high clinical performance.
With the introduction of the Mini Midline, the Numantec range dedicated to peripheral and central venous access is now complete and fully consistent. Mini Midline, Midline, and PICC share the same design philosophy and a similar cannula structure, while differing in length and infusion characteristics in order to adapt to different clinical needs.
Numantec will also present DualCap® in Valencia, a disinfection and protection system for needle-free connectors that has recently been added to the Group’s portfolio.
DualCap® is designed to help reduce the risk of contamination of vascular access devices through a continuous passive disinfection system, protecting connectors when not in use and simplifying management procedures for healthcare professionals.
Numantec and Its Commitment to Innovation in Vascular Access
Participation in WoCoVA 2026 represents an important opportunity for Numantec to engage with the international scientific community and to share its solutions dedicated to vascular access management.
The Group invites all congress participants to visit stand B6 to discover the showcased solutions and learn more about the technologies developed by Numantec.
